Alaska Community Share is a coalition of 27 Alaska-based grassroots organizations that build social change, economic equality and a healthy environment by connecting community-based non-profits to workplace giving programs – right here in Alaska.

Alaska Community Share leverages the power of workplace giving to connect employees and employers with community-based non-profits.
Organized by a grassroots effort in 1985, Alaska Community Share, through its member agencies, works to increase the involvement of citizens in issues that affect our communities:

• Homelessness and poverty,
• Access to health care,
• Civil liberties,
• Economic inequality,
• Violence in our communities, and
• Ensuring a healthy environment for all Alaskans.

By supporting Alaska Community Share, you have the opportunity to choose how you want your payroll deduction distributed.  You can direct your contribution to one or more of our member organizations by designating your gift to the agency of your choice.
Alaska Community Share member agencies are screened carefully every year and are held to strict financial accountability standards.  This provides our donors peace of mind, knowing that your contributions are well managed.
Alaska Community Share is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of member agency representatives.  Board members are elected for a three-year term and are responsible for all decisions concerning the operations of Alaska Community Share.
