What is workplace giving?

Workplace Giving is our term for annual charity campaigns in the workplace

It allows employees to make a financial contribution to nonprofit organizations. And, just as important, it gives them a way to connect to the lives of many others in the community.

How is Alaska Community Share Different?

Alaska Community Share is unique in that the way we distrubute funds is 100% donor-designiated. By writing in their designation, contributors choose which charities in the Alaska Community Share federation receive their support. They can also choose to support all of them equally, either with an undesignated donation, or with a donation designated right to Alaska Community Share.

Unlike some other federated-giving organizations, Alaska Community Share believes that the donor's intent is the most important consideration that must be honored when handling charitable contributions.

However you choose to give to Alaska Community Share, your gift will be staying here in Alaska, helping to make Alaska a better place for all Alaskans.
