Working locally to make Alaska
an even BETTER place to live Alaska Community Share is a coalition of 27 Alaska-based grassroots organizations that build social change, economic equality and a healthy environment by connecting community-based non-profits to workplace giving programs – right here in Alaska.
The Annual Fall All-Members meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 25 from 11:30-1:00.
All member agencies should send a representative to hear about the upcoming Fall Campaigns and get new campaign materials.
A light lunch will be served.
It will be a great opportunity to take a breather from work, network with one another, and learn more about Alaska Community Share and the various workplace campaigns in which we participate.
The meeting will be held at Ruralcap, 731 E. 8th Ave. (Parking and entry are on the 8th Ave. side of the building).
Remember, this is YOUR organization working with YOUR donors to help support YOUR mission.

YOUR COMMUNITY
YOUR CHOICES
Alaska Community Share leverages the power of workplace giving to connect employees and employers with community-based non-profits.
Organized by a grassroots effort in 1985, Alaska Community Share, through its member agencies, works to increase the involvement of citizens in issues that affect our communities:
- Homelessness and poverty,
- Access to health care,
- Civil liberties,
- Economic inequality,
- Violence in our communities, and
- Ensuring a healthy environment for all Alaskans.
By supporting Alaska Community Share, you have the opportunity to choose how you want your payroll deduction distributed. You can direct your contribution to one or more of our member organizations by designating your gift to the agency of your choice.
Alaska Community Share member agencies are screened carefully every year and are held to strict financial accountability standards. This provides our donors peace of mind, knowing that your contributions are well managed.
Alaska Community Share is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of member agency representatives. Board members are elected for a three-year term and are responsible for all decisions concerning the operations of Alaska Community Share.
All contributions stay here in Alaska!
