Member agencies help people in need, create social change, advocate for women's issues, promote cultural awareness, promote basic and affordable health care, and protect our environment.

Alaska Community Share offers employees the opportunity to support -- through workplace giving via payroll deduction -- non-profit organizations working in their communities. Alaska Community Share was founded in 1985 by a grassroots effort to increase the involvement of citizens in issues that affect our communities.

Employees who donate through payroll deductions can choose how their contribution is distributed. They can choose to have their contribution shared by all the member organizations, or designate the donation for a particular organization or organizations.

Workplace giving is an easy and efficient way for people to support the Alaskan charities they care about most.
